A diptych is a piece of art that has two individual pieces that make the whole. Yes, the basic shapes will be stenciled for you. 1 canvas is $40. Please note if you are doing Lady or Tramp in the "ANY NOTES" field. We'll do it again next month so you can complete the picture. If you are coming with a BFF or partner, and want to do both sides, buy 2 seats and note that. If you are coming with a BFF or partner and want to do the same side, buy 2 and note that. Feb 11, 2023 @ 12pm - 2pm With hundreds of paintings in our library, it happens quite often that you might not see THE one you want to paint on the calendar for a LONG time. Now's your chance to paint it! This session is not a step-by-step guided class, but we'll set you up with everything you need to paint the painting that you REALLY want to paint. Please sign up in advance & send your choice(s) with your registration as instructed below.* It takes us a lot longer to set up these sessions bc everyone is doing a different piece, so getting your selections to us well in advance will make this easier on us & give me time to create some directions for you if the painting you selected doesn't already have them. Thank you! 1. Decide what you'd like to paint before you register. CLICK HERE to see our painting galleries. You'll be linked out to Flickr in a separate window. 2. Come back to our registration page. Enter your selection in the "Note" field below. Email any questions or color changes to kate@artinisartlounge.com. Share My Umbrella Feb 11, 2023 @ 3pm - 5pm Any easy albeit messy piece. First we'll paint the background a pale gray. Then we'll paint in the figures & umbrella which will be stenciled for you. After that we put a line of black glue atop the umbrella so that the drips don't run down onto your people. The drips are the watercolors of your choice. We'll show you how to do it. It's actually quite a fun piece to complete while you giggle with your partner. Click for more information! Class is on! 12 Class is on! Candy Hearts Feb 12, 2023 @ 2pm - 4pm A bright, fun way to tell your sweetheart or bestie how much you love them. Write whatever words you like! We paint the whole background first, then we have tons of stencils for you to put the hearts where you like. We'll show you how to fill in the hearts - you can do whatever colors you like. You don't have to do it exactly as we did. And then paint on whatever words you want! Grab your besties, or just yourself and come make some new besties, get ready for some tacos, some painting, and sex trivia! Yes, we ladies shall dine, drink, toast, and laugh our butts off while we paint a lighted ceramic LOVE sign or Hugging Gnomes and a Candy Heart Canvas that you can have say whatever you're feeling (It doesn't have to be clean! hehe). Idk, maybe give it to someone later if you want to. Either way, lots of fun shall be had. Click for more information!	14 Valentine's Day Fun 2023! - Registration Closed Feb 14, 2023 @ 7pm Resin Art Project - 12x12" wood tray painted or decorated to your heart's content & then add resin for a lustrous shine and durability. Paint the tray however you like. You can even bring personal effects from home like pictures or tiny objects (TINY) to put on the tray. The resin will permanently affix it to the tray. No, resin does not harm photographs. Origami Station - While your pieces dry, head to the origami station and create a few critters. In the Clouds Feb 22, 2023 @ 7pm Beautiful atmospheric piece, simple in composition but not for the faint of heart. We only use 3 colors in this piece and it's a lot of dry brush work. You'll have to make peace with things not being "perfect" and go with whatever happens. This one will be work, much of the same brush movement, and will require some focus. It will be a good exercise in learning to blend, how to use a dry brush and your fingers. Click for more information!	23 Class is on!
