10 Mother's Day Zoom Class - Kit or Class Purchase Required May 10, 2020 @ 2pm - 4pm Hey All! I'm doing my first official paid instruction class a la what we do in the studio. Seat purchase is a kit purchase ($20 kit), and if you'd like to use your own supplies it's $10 to take the class. I will be emailing everyone with pick up information. - If you need a kit, purchase the kit as is for $20 - If you just want the class and NOT the kit, enter promo code CLASSONLY to make it $10. We'll be doing this via Zoom and those who purchase either the class or kit will be sent an email with the Zoom information and password. If you're doing this on your own you will need: 11"x14" canvas Big flat brush, small flat brush, tiny flat or pointy brush White Phthalo Blue (cool blue) Alizarin Crimson (cool red) Cadmium Yellow Light (regular yellow) Cadmium Yellow Deep (deep orangey yellow) We will be mixing our purples & greens, but your choice if you want to have some of your own on hand. Basic jar shape will be stenciled for you. - If you need a kit, purchase the kit as is for $20 - If you just want the class and NOT the brushes, enter promo code NOBRUSH for $5 off. Please only do 11x14 so you can be complete in 2 hours. However you can always go back to the video at a later date if you fall behind. I will be moving forward as I am complete with a step. If you feel rushed you can always go back & watch the video later. But honestly speaking, kind of forcing yourself to move ahead instead of obsess over a step is good practice. :D Things you will need: - Canvas 11x14 or smaller - Phthalo blue, White, Tiny black, brown, Alizarin Crimson (cool red or phthalo red), Yellow Ochre (spicy mustard), Tiny dark green (phthalo green) - Big flat brush, small flat brush, small round (pointy). - Water cup, paper towel, and mixing plate - Have a blow dryer handy just in case! - An adult beverage if you're 21+ to help nerves & encourage creative flow! 31 Closed for In-Studio Classes Until Further Notice May 31, 2020 @ Joining the forces of responsibility to the community, ARTini's will not be holding our scheduled classes nor open studio for the next 2 weeks. For those of you who are already signed up, be on the lookout for an email from me. Your seat purchases will be held in the system, and to ease the stress of when you might be able to reschedule, I'm happy to honor your seat purchase credits for 6 months (as opposed to the policy of 60 days). If you're part of a big group, we'll work together to find the next date that works for all of you. That said, for anyone, I am happy to assemble take home kits for you, also. For the same price as class I can sketch your canvas (16"x20" stretched canvas), prepare paint, and supply brushes. I prefer to email the directions to you so as to save paper and ink, but I can print that out for you if you like. Kid's take home kits are $20 for an 11"x14" canvas board & the rest of the supplies. If you'd just like a stenciled board, that's $15. I can also prep you a stencil & wood take home kit! I'm also toying with the idea of getting over camera shyness and doing some live instructional videos for the kiddos. If you have supplies at home, great! If you want to pick some up, let me know.
